![]() | Hi and welcome to my website. My name is Srinath. I am an amatuer photographer from Chennai. I grew up surrounded by art and developed interest in photography in school but did not actively pursue it as a hobby until four years ago. Stuck between the romance of film and the ease of digital, I try to capture facets of life in its entirety. I love colours in all its forms - skewed, muted, loud or even devoid. My photographs express my thoughts better than my words. Apart from photography I also indulge in painting sketching and making videos. |
Take a look at the streets of Chennai from my eyes. This is a collection of photographs taken during my walks alone and as part of the Chennai Photowalk.
Sometimes there is nothing more relaxing than walking along the beach - be it anytime of the day. The only thing that can make it better is having a camera in your hands.
A collection of photos from the Vardharajaperumal Temple and Iyengar Kulam at Kanchipuram.
Four guys, two Bullets and 750km in 3 days. That's the way to live. Period.
The joy of travelling is found in those places not marked on a map.
When colours steal all the attention, I turn to black & white.
This is what I do at home to keep myself occupied.
In rememberance of the most beautiful Flame of the Forest tree that used to be outside my house. Living on the third floor, I had direct access to the flowers and spent many hours admiring their beauty.
The joy of using film. This is a combination of photos taken with the Lomography Holga 120 and a German 1952 Gevabox box camera.
